When a descale cycle no longer fixes it, we open the machine, clear the scale from the parts the cycle cannot reach, and check the sensors so the machine holds its set temperature again.
- Descale light that keeps coming back on an Oracle. If the descale warning returns soon after a cycle, scale is usually still sitting in the flow path. We take the machine apart far enough to clean those sections by hand, then run and measure the flow so the warning clears for real instead of coming back the next week.
- Grinder dose drifting on an Oracle Touch. An Oracle Touch that changes shot strength on the same setting has a grinder issue, either worn burrs or fines packed in the chute. We clean the burr path, reset the calibration, and swap the burrs when they are past their edge, so the dose lands the same every time.
