- No heat or shuts off after a few seconds. On a Dual Boiler, this is usually a tripped thermal cutout or an open thermostat on one of the heating elements. We meter the circuit, confirm which part failed, and replace the cutout or thermostat so the machine holds temperature again.
- Weak shot with no crema. A Breville that pulls thin, fast shots often has a tired pump or an OPV that dumps pressure early. We check pump output and reset or replace the valve so the group reaches proper brew pressure.
- Slow flow from hard water. Millbrae water leaves scale inside the boiler and lines. When descaling no longer helps, we open the machine and clear the buildup a normal cycle can't reach.
