- Oracle Touch grinder stalling or grinding unevenly. A grinder that hesitates under load or leaves clumps in the dose usually points at a worn burr set or a motor losing torque. I test motor current and check the burr chamber for oil buildup before ordering a burr set or a new motor.
- Boiler cycling short on a heavy-use Dual Boiler. In an Emerald Hills household running the machine hard every morning, a heating element or thermostat can start cycling instead of holding steady temperature. I meter the element and thermostat separately so I am not replacing the whole heating assembly for one bad part.
- Pump losing pressure after months of daily use. A vibration pump wears down faster in a house pulling ten or more shots a day. I gauge output at the group and compare it against spec before replacing the pump, since sometimes the OPV is the real culprit and the pump is fine.
