- Pump wears out early from heavy daily use. Machines pulling many shots a day on a work schedule put more hours on the pump and OPV than a typical household unit sees. We test pressure at the group, and replace the pump or reset the valve so the shot pulls at the right resistance again.
- Boiler takes longer to recover between shots. When the second boiler on a Dual Boiler falls behind after back-to-back shots, the heating element or the thermostat is usually losing efficiency. We test the heat circuit and replace the part that is holding recovery time back.
- Portafilter no longer locks in tight. Heavy daily use wears the gasket in the group head, and the portafilter starts to feel loose or leak water at the seal. We replace the gasket so the lock and seal are tight again.
