- Machine will not power on at all. I start at the outlet and the cord, then check the internal fuse before touching the main board. A blown fuse from a power surge is a common, cheap fix, and I would rather find that than sell you a board you do not need.
- Weak, watery shots. Thin shots with no crema point at low brew pressure. I gauge the group, check the OPV, and test the pump, and I replace only the part the gauge actually points to.
- Scale buildup slowing the flow. When descale cycles stop helping, scale has usually moved past where a normal cycle reaches. I open the machine, clear the boiler and lines by hand, and confirm flow is back to normal before closing it up.
