- Thin, sour shots from an Oracle grinder. When shots run fast and taste sour no matter the setting, the conical burrs are worn or knocked out of alignment. We inspect the burrs, reset the top burr carrier, and recalibrate the grind so the dose lands right again. On an Oracle that grinds and tamps automatically, calibration is the fix people miss.
- Oracle Touch grinder not dosing. A grinder that spins but drops little or no coffee usually has a chute clog or a bean hopper that is not seating the magnet switch. We clear the path, check the grinder motor and the switch, and confirm the dose weight. If the motor is failing we quote it after testing, not before.
- Dual Boiler not reaching brew temperature. On a BES920 that heats slowly or stalls below temperature, the brew boiler element or a temperature sensor is the usual cause. We test both boiler circuits, check the sensors, and read the fault behavior. Two boilers means we isolate which side is failing so you are not charged for both.
