I always check what circuit the machine is on before I open the machine itself.

- Breaker trips during heat-up in a condo kitchen. Shared panels in HOA buildings sometimes cannot take the draw of a Dual Boiler at full heat alongside other appliances. We confirm the circuit and load first, and if the machine itself is pulling extra current from a failing heating element, we replace it.
- Machine resets or loses settings. A power dip from a shared circuit, or a failing control board, can both make a Breville reset mid-session. We test the board and the power supply separately so we know which one is actually causing it.
- Slow to heat despite a recent descale. Even with routine descaling, buildup can settle in spots the cycle does not reach well, and heat-up time creeps up over months. We open the boiler when descaling alone stops being enough.
