La Marzocco GS3 Maintenance in Sunnyvale: New Valves and a Full Descale Despite a Water Filter
A Sunnyvale home barista booked routine maintenance for a La Marzocco GS3 that runs on filtered water. Inside, the filter had not kept up: the boiler floor was carpeted with scale, the fittings on the flange were ringed with white crust, and the steam boiler heating element had a thick mineral shell that was slowing the heat-up and weakening the steam.

ECM Espresso Machine in Walnut Creek: Scale-Blocked Valve Replaced and Full Maintenance

Bunn Crescendo Bean-to-Cup Machine Repair

The July diagnostic found a brew path at the end of its life: tired valve diaphragms, seals and O-rings, silicone lines gone stiff with coffee oils. We recommended the full annual maintenance and ordered the kit.
No case studies match those filters yet.
