La Marzocco service in San Ramon after a repeated temperature warning
Keep the complete warning, including the boiler or group it names. For San Ramon pickup, tell us whether the La Marzocco was warming from cold or already operating. A shortened report such as “PID error” can leave out the useful part of the message.
Our authorized, factory-trained service includes assessment of the actual heating and control behavior. We do not change a setpoint to conceal the symptom or assume a warning identifies the part to replace.
Leave calibration for diagnosis
Record existing settings and recent maintenance. Internal sensor, wiring, and heater checks require safe service access.
Confirm the equipment tier
Home and commercial La Marzocco machines have different deposits. We arrange collection and return after confirming the model and access.
Pickup, assessment, and return
La Marzocco home deposit: $200. Commercial deposit: $250 to $550, selected by model. Additional bench work: $175 an hour.
The deposit pays for collection, bench diagnosis, and delivery back to you. It is not a credit against the repair charge. We seek your approval for the proposed repair.
Allow up to a week for diagnosis. Most repair jobs run 3–4 weeks; confirm the status of your own machine with us.
Repair coverage: parts 6 months; labor 6 months; consumables 90 days. A return of the same repaired fault is corrected without another charge.

Can a warning prove that the temperature probe failed?
It may describe a sensor condition, but the signal path and machine need checking before deciding which component is responsible.
