What we do. What we fix.

An espresso machine is precision plumbing under pressure

It holds water at brewing temperature, pushes it through a tight puck at nine bars, and steams milk at the same time, all day. When one part of that drifts, the shots show it before you do. A bar in downtown Pleasanton or a busy spot off Oakland’s coffee corridor can’t run on guesswork, so we don’t guess. We measure.

We repair commercial espresso machines for cafes, restaurants, roasters, hotels, and offices across the Tri-Valley and East Bay.

What we cover

  • Single, double, and triple group machines
  • Semi-automatic, automatic, and volumetric models
  • Heat exchanger, dual boiler, and saturated group designs
  • Super-automatic espresso machines
  • Steam boilers, brew boilers, and PID controls
  • Group heads, solenoid valves, and expansion valves
  • Pumps, flow meters, and water lines

Symptoms we see all the time

No pressure or weak extraction. Rotary or vibe pump wearing out, an OPV out of adjustment, or a clogged gicleur. We put a gauge on it and read the real number.

Shots run cold or temperature jumps shot to shot. Heating element, thermostat, PID sensor, or a heat exchanger choked with scale.

Steam wand barely steams. Boiler pressure low, steam valve worn, or the wand tip and pickup tube scaled shut.

Group head leaks or dribbles after the shot. Group gasket gone hard, a solenoid valve stuck, or a worn three-way valve not releasing pressure.

Water in the drip tray won’t stop. Expansion valve, a fill probe reading wrong, or an autofill solenoid that won’t seat.

Grinder throwing off dose or fineness. Worn burrs, a slipping adjustment collar, or static and clumping from old burrs past their life.

Machine trips the breaker. A failing element shorting to ground. That’s a stop-now problem and we treat it like one.

How a visit goes

Tell us the make, model, and what the shots are doing. When you’re down mid-service, we prioritize the call.

On site we diagnose with gauges and a thermometer, not a hunch. The $75 diagnostic comes off the bill when you have us do the repair. You get a straight answer on the problem, the cost, and whether the part is worth putting into the machine. Wear items like gaskets, valves, and seals we usually carry and replace the same visit. Boiler and electronic parts we’ll source quickly and tell you the timeline.

Brands we service

We work on La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, Victoria Arduino, Rancilio, Slayer, Synesso, Astoria, CMA, Wega, and the common super-automatic brands. We’re a Franke Coffee Systems certified technician on the A-Line super-automatics, so Franke gets factory-level service on the boards, brew groups, and grinders.

A note on La Marzocco, because we keep it honest: we service these machines, and we know them well, but our factory training is scheduled for August 2026. We’re not going to claim a certification we don’t have yet. For Astoria, CMA, and Wega we get parts through our RCW distributor partner.

We’re independent, not a dealer pushing a brand. You get the repair that makes sense for your machine and your volume.
