We Completed La Marzocco Factory Training. Bay Area Coffee Service Is Now Authorized.

Our technicians finished La Marzocco's factory training in August 2026. We now service La Marzocco machines as an authorized service company, the same honest bench work with the factory's playbook behind it.

From the day we published it, our La Marzocco brand page carried the same honest line: we service these machines, we know them well, and we are not factory-trained yet. That second part is done. In August 2026 our technicians sat through La Marzocco’s factory training, and Bay Area Coffee Service now operates as an authorized La Marzocco service company.

The training was not a slideshow. We spent the days at a La Marzocco facility with machines open on the bench: a Linea Classic torn down to the frame, boilers out of their insulation, wiring harnesses traced end to end. We checked power at the twist-lock plug with a meter the way the factory teaches it, rebuilt groups, and worked through the steam and brew boilers on machines that had been opened up specifically so we could see what a factory tech sees.

One test stuck with me. We deliberately brought a steam boiler up to pressure and watched the pressure relief valve do its job, a controlled burst of steam from an open machine. It is a small check, but it is the one that keeps a pressurized boiler safe, and now it is part of how we verify every La Marzocco rebuild before the machine goes back to its bar.

A note on wording, because we have always been careful with claims on this site. La Marzocco does not issue paper certificates for this program. So the exact claim we make is authorized and factory-trained. Not certified, because there is no certificate to show you. What we can show you is the work, and the photos on this page are from the training itself.

For cafe owners, nothing about the process changes. Same pickup, bench diagnosis, and return across the Bay Area and San Francisco, seven days a week. The deposit is still $175 for a home Linea Mini or GS3 and $250 to $550 for a commercial machine. What changes is what stands behind the diagnosis: the factory’s own procedures, learned on their benches, applied to your Linea, GB5, Strada, or KB90.

If your La Marzocco needs attention, the details and the full model list are on our La Marzocco service page. Call (925) 999-4095 or email welcome@adriumservice.com and we will take it from there.

FAQ

Common questions.

Are you La Marzocco certified now?
The precise word is authorized. We completed the factory training, but La Marzocco does not issue paper certificates for it, so we say authorized and factory-trained rather than certified.
Does this cover home machines like the Linea Mini and GS3?
Yes. The training covers the same platforms the home machines are built on, and we pick up Linea Mini and GS3 machines the same way we always have.
Did your prices change with the authorization?
No. The deposit is still $175 for a home Linea Mini or GS3 and $250 to $550 for a commercial La Marzocco, with pickup, bench diagnosis, and return included.
