A filling message can mean that a La Marzocco is carrying out its normal fill cycle, or that the controller waited for a water-level signal and never received it. The exact wording matters. Start with the model on the machine, then use its table below.
These are display-message references for the GB5, Linea PB, KB90 and Strada AV editions named here. The meaning column follows the manufacturer text, with line wrapping removed. Page numbers are the physical pages in the PDF. A message identifies a condition the controller detected; it does not establish which replacement part the machine needs.

The installation and boiler-filled questions belong with the person commissioning the machine. Don’t confirm them as a way to get past a fault. This manual’s instructions behind those prompts involve filling and bleeding the boiler.

The boiler number is part of the message. Include it when you request service; the manual uses it to identify the affected coffee boiler. The two installation prompts in this table are not instructions for a barista to bleed a group or open a fitting.

The KB90 manual also contains urgent heater warnings. A heater label and its description disagree in this edition, so that pair of heater warnings is not decoded here. If the screen tells you to turn the machine off, follow that warning and call for service. Don’t restart it to continue making drinks.

The water-filter reminder calls for the filter’s prescribed maintenance or replacement. Boiler and group commissioning prompts still belong with the installer. A prompt about an unsuccessful login is omitted because it concerns access rather than a machine fault; no access procedure is given here.
When the displayed text is not listed
Keep the whole message, including any boiler or group number, and send a photo with the model to La Marzocco service. Bay Area Coffee Service is authorized and factory-trained for La Marzocco. Equipment still under a manufacturer warranty should go through the manufacturer’s warranty service first.
The GB5 S, Strada EE and Strada X editions checked for this guide did not supply a comparable troubleshooting table. A message from one of those machines needs its own model documentation. Internal electrical tests, temperature-probe connections and boiler work belong with a technician.
The home GS3 has a separate Refill Tank message tied to reservoir positioning, outside the commercial-model tables above.
