I confirm the correct gate and building before pickup because a property may have more than one kitchen. The lever is restrained for the hill roads, and the bench inspection records both water quality clues and age-related wear in the seals, valves, and heating circuit.

What we close on the truck.
- Lever piston and cup seals. Hardened piston cups make the Cremina lever drag, slip, or leak past the group. I inspect the piston and replace the seal set only after checking the sleeve surface.
- Group sleeve and gasket. A scored 49 mm group sleeve can damage a new seal quickly. I inspect the bore, gasket seat, and lever movement together before rebuilding the group.
- Boiler heat and pressure control. Slow heat, overheating, or unstable pressure can come from the element, pressurestat, wiring, thermal protection, scale, or the safety valve. I meter and pressure-test before ordering parts.
