Victoria Arduino handbooks don’t all describe alarms in the same way. Adonis has a message-and-cause table. E1 Prima Pro lists alarm labels. Eagle One provides a short symptom table, while the VA388 Black Eagle handbook shows examples in its alarm-history screen. Use the matching section; those examples are not a shared code system.
All page references below count from the first page of the PDF. The source is named beside each table so you can check the edition as well as the model.
Adonis: display messages and their causes
Source: Adonis User Handbook, Rev.01, June 2008, PDF pages 33–34 (printed pages 67–68). The section is titled “Adonis machine function messages.”
On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways to read every column.
| Message or code | Manual meaning | Next step | PDF page |
|---|---|---|---|
| DIAGNOSIS OF ERROR | At the time of the diagnosis the system presents faults within the control unit EPROM. | Call a technician. | 33 |
| DELIVERY ERROR | On reaching delivery time limit (120 seconds) the doser doesn’t send out its set commands. | Call a technician. | 33 |
| DOSER ERROR | If the doser doesn’t send out its set commands within the first three seconds from delivery onset. | Call a technician. | 33 |
| LEVEL ERROR | If after 90 sec of machine functioning the water level is not reestablished. | Call a technician. | 33 |
| PRESSURE ERROR | When the machine’s temperature is higher than 130°C. | Call a technician. | 34 |
| OVERCURRENT ERR. | Incorrect electrical input caused by a malfunction in one of the machine charges. | Switch off the machine and call a technician. | 34 |
| FINE GRINDING | The machine registers values different from the set values. | Adjust the grind as the handbook describes. Call a technician if the warning persists. | 34 |
| COARSE GRINDING | The machine registers values different from the set values. | Press RESET as the handbook directs. Call a technician if the warning persists. | 34 |
The last two rows have the same short cause description in the handbook. Its effect column distinguishes a much longer delivery from a much shorter one. Follow the next step for the displayed message; neither row proves that an internal component has failed. Arrange service if the warning persists.
E1 Prima Pro: labels in the alarm list
Source: E1 Prima Pro Instructions Manual, 291000351, revision 02, October 2024, PDF page 62. These are the labels listed on that page. It supplies no number-to-label mapping, so this table adds none. Some labels name a system or history entry rather than a specific failed part.
| Manual label | Next step | PDF page |
|---|---|---|
| Alarms history list full. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Alarm history | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Perform the washing operations. | Run the operator group-washing cycle described on PDF page 76. | 62 |
| Coffee unit. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| EasyCream. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Overpressure. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Service boiler. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Coffee boiler. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| External boards communication error. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Connections module. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Mains pressure below threshold. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Mains pressure. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Maintenance report. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Maintenance by cycles or date. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| System monitoring error. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Low battery or LSE error. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Alarm/counter history loading error. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Error loading recipe parameters. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Filling timeout. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Heating timeout. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Probe in short circuit. | Call a technician. | 62 |
| Probe in open circuit. | Call a technician. | 62 |
For the washing prompt, use the ordinary group-cleaning instructions on PDF page 76. The alarm list does not authorize changing service settings or deleting the history.
Coffee or steam disabled without a hardware fault
The same Prima Pro manual explains on PDF page 64 that the coffee-dispensing unit and steam nozzle can each be disabled by the Energy Saving settings. A disabled unit cannot dispense coffee; a disabled nozzle cannot dispense steam. Check the normal operator setting before treating that condition as a boiler alarm. If an actual fault message is also present, record it for the technician.
Espresso and PureBrew screens
An Espresso or PureBrew home screen identifies the selected dispensing mode. It is not itself an alarm. The handbook describes both modes on PDF pages 58–61 and identifies Espresso as the first-start default. Include the selected mode with a fault report, especially if the machine still dispenses but the screen looks different from the one the operator expects.
Eagle One: symptoms listed in the handbook
Source: Eagle One User Handbook, 31002012, revision 02, February 2024, PDF page 104. The following first-column entries are symptoms from its troubleshooting table, not codes or quoted screen messages.
| Symptom in handbook | Manual cause | Next step | PDF page |
|---|---|---|---|
| The machine does not deliver coffee. | If the doser doesn’t send out its set commands within the first three seconds from delivery onset. | Interrupt delivery; call a technician if coffee still will not dispense. | 104 |
| Water is not loaded into the boiler. | If after 90 seconds from the beginning, with the pump inserted during the auto-level, the level has not been reset, or within 180 seconds if the auto-level function is disabled. | Turn the machine off and contact technical service. | 104 |
That handbook describes an alarm-history list on PDF page 83, but does not provide a complete numeric fault dictionary. An unlisted Eagle One code needs service to check the exact machine; it should not be interpreted using the Adonis table above.
VA388 Black Eagle: alarm-history examples
Source: VA388 Black Eagle User Handbook, 31000605, edition 05, October 2018, PDF page 63. The handbook screenshot contains the examples below. It gives no cause table for them. One repeated group-dose example is shown once here.
| Manual label | Next step | PDF page |
|---|---|---|
| Cup warmer probe 1 error | Call a technician. | 63 |
| Pressure error | Call a technician. | 63 |
| Group dose error 1 | Call a technician. | 63 |
| Group dose error 2 | Call a technician. | 63 |
The wash alarm is different: PDF page 64 describes it as a timed group-washing reminder. Record the full wording before deciding that a warning is only a cleaning reminder. The VA388 example screen cannot be used as a fault key for Black Eagle Maverick.
Arrange a model-specific check
Provide the exact model and a clear display photo when booking Victoria Arduino repair. We service the brand independently. For equipment under its manufacturer warranty, contact the manufacturer’s warranty service first.
Keep boiler, wiring and internal sensor work with a technician. The White Eagle handbook found for this guide has damaged text in its machine-message table, so those rows are omitted. You can obtain model documentation through Victoria Arduino; ask for the edition that matches your machine.
